Since 1984 the George and Rose Papanikolaou  Scholarship  has provided financial assistance to many  of the deserving  young people of the St. Spyridon  Community.  Once again the Board  of Directors of the Papanikolaou Scholarship are happy to announce that the applications are available for the year 2011.

Eligibility  Factors and  Limitations:

1.  Application is limited to students who are members of the St. Spyridon Church, or have one parent who is a member.
2. Applicant must attend a four year college/university leading to a bachelor’s  degree in the fall of the year of the receipt of the scholarship.
3. Student must provide evidence of matriculation at a four year college/university.
4. Student must be a graduating senior from a San Diego City/County High School.

1. Complete and forward application by March 31,2011
2. Grades- 40%
3. Depth and scope of interest-15%
4. Ability to communicate ideas-15%
5. Financial need-15%
6. Leadership qualities and potential-15%
